The sad reality is that domestic abuse
can end in homicide. Since 1995, 154 women in Iowa have been killed
by their current or former partners. Intimate partner homicides
affect not only the individual victims and their families, but our
communities. ICADV has provided the following information to assist
our programs and communities in responding to this tragedy when it
strikes so close to home.
