Domestic Violence is an 8.3 billion dollar drain on our nation’s economy every year. From lost productivity to healthcare costs, violence in domestic relationships impacts every aspect of our communities. It only makes sense that our community as a whole works to support ending domestic violence and serving survivors.
What you can do:
- Host a training for professionals on domestic violence in the workplace
- Update workplace policies to support safety for victims as well as gender equity
- Support community wide initiatives to educate about and reduce the incidences of domestic violence
- Join and/or Support the Iowa Men’s Action Network
