Child Advocate Taskforce

The mission of the Child Advocate Task Force (CATF) is to be a strong voice for youth affected by domestic violence. We strive to provide services to youth as a first priority, educate our community and advocate fervently for victims of domestic violence in order to create a safer society.

CATF provides:

  • training and technical assistance to advocates and agencies providing services to youth,
  • mentoring and support to new child advocates,
  • strategies to reach out to youth affected by violence,
  • resources and hands-on ideas for working with youth within domestic abuse programs.

Meetings are held on a rotating basis throughout the state. Contact ICADV to get in touch with the current CATF chair for further information.
