ICADV's Housing and Economic Advocacy Task Force (HEAT Force) focuses on economic justice for survivors of domestic abuse. Economic resources and opportunities are key components to building safety for individual survivors and an essential part in critical analysis of current social systems. H.E.A.T. Force strives to increase advocates' knowledge of housing, welfare, and economic trends; identify and strategize to address community needs; and advocate for fair housing and employment legislation and policies.
