Being a positive, active bystander: This means standing up when you see something wrong or something that promotes violence. It can be as simple as not using the phrase “I’d hit that” to describe an attractive girl, telling your friends when jokes aren’t cool, being a comforting shoulder for a friend in an abusive situation, or telling a friend that is being abusive about counseling options. A good message avoids promoting myths about violence
A good messae should be catchy and relevant to the lives of other teens
