Iowa Coalition Against Domestic Violence

  • Legal Director - NEW!!!
    This position is crucial in overseeing and guiding ICADV's legal program. This individual will be responsible for offering high-quality legal representation and consultation in family law and immigration matters to victims of gender-based violence. The Legal Director will also provide technical assistance to domestic violence member programs. Additionally, they will support the public policy team on priority policy issues for a portion of their time.

Interpreters in the ICADV Legal Clinic

The ICADV Legal Clinic seeks part-time, as-needed, unpaid volunteers fluent in Bosnian, Creole, French and Mandarin. As a volunteer, you will assist with oral and written communication with a survivor and written translation of applications, legal pleadings and supporting documentation for cases. We welcome volunteers with one-time or ongoing availability.
