Volunteer Coordinator

Amani Amani Community Services has an exciting opportunity to join their team as a volunteer coordinator.
This position supports and supervises volunteers and recruits students and community volunteers throughout
the agencies service area. The volunteer coordinator will also provide community presentations, assist
volunteers to organize fundraising and community awareness activities, collect and oversee volunteers to
keep accurate records, and coordinate with local agencies.

Housing Program Supervisor

Calling social justice minded leaders! ACCESS is hiring for our housing program supervisor. This position leads our emergency housing services and helps implement our vision that every survivor should have safe, stable housing. We need someone who is nimble, compassionate and good at delivering hard news. Someone who can understand complicated housing regulations and make them easy to digest. Rural Sexual Abuse Advocate

Do you have great listening skills and a passion for social justice? Are you good at building relationships and thinking creatively? Then a job as an advocate might be a perfect fit for you! The Rural Sexual Abuse Advocate is a point person for sexual abuse services in Marshall and Tama County, though works at times throughout our five county service area. Sexual Abuse Youth Advocate

The Sexual Abuse Youth Advocate is a full-time salaried position. The primary responsibility of this position is direct service to victims/survivors of forms of sexual abuse. The Sexual Abuse Youth Advocate serves sexual abuse victims/survivors of all ages, with a strong emphasis on serving and assisting youth and their non-offending family members. The full position description can be

On-call Advocate

The On Call Advocate position is a part-time hourly position. The primary responsibility of this position is night and weekend crisis response for victims/survivors of forms of sexual abuse. At times, day time on call shifts are available. The On Call Advocate is responsible to the Sexual Abuse and Domestic Abuse Program Supervisors. This position is based in Story County, but response may take place in any/all areas of ACCESS’ service area. The full position description can be found here

Homicide and Other Violent Crimes Coordinator

The Homicide and Other Violent Crime Coordinator (Violent Crime Coordinator) is a full-time salaried position.  Responsibility of this position includes providing direct service and advocacy to victims/survivors of homicide (those who lost a loved one) and other violent crimes. The On Call Advocate is responsible to the Sexual Abuse and Domestic Abuse Program Supervisors. The Special Populations Survivor Advocate provides comprehensive trauma-informed and survivor-centered services to survivors of domestic violence. Domestic Violence Counselor Advocate (Part-time)

Family Resources is looking for a passionate, energetic, and flexible Domestic Violence Counselor Advocate. The Illinois Domestic Violence Counselor Advocate will provide domestic violence services to youth and adults in the service area that identify as child witnesses to domestic violence/survivors of teen dating violence/survivors of domestic violence. The Counselor Advocate will provide individual, family, and group counseling, advocacy, case management, and safety planning for individuals affected by domestic violence in Rock Island County, Illinois, and parts of Henry County. As a volunteer, you will assist with oral and written communication with a survivor and written translation of applications, legal pleadings and supporting documentation for cases. We welcome volunteers with one-time or ongoing availability.
