Everyone in Iowa deserves to feel safe.

WE BELIEVE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IS PREVENTABLE.

The Iowa Coalition Against Domestic Violence supports a statewide network of 22 survivor programs, connects survivors with the assistance they need, and advocates for policy and community transformation to make Iowa a safer place for everyone.

THE IMPACT OF VIOLENCE AFFECTS EVERYONE.

Feeling physically, mentally and emotionally safe are basic human needs that every person and child deserves. When anyone in our community experiences violence, it affects the collective health of the entire population.

WE PROMOTE VIOLENCE-FREE LIVING FOR ALL IOWANS.

How we do it:

  • We provide training and assistance for 22 survivor support programs across the state.

  • We connect survivors and their dependents to legal, cultural and family support resources.

  • We invite everyone to join our coalition to help educate and advocate for policy and community transformations for safer living  in Iowa.
